Responsibilities

  • Control risk: Perform variance analysis and prepare and manage financial forecasts, budgets, staffing, and resources
  • Impact the bottom line: Produce solid and effective strategies based on accurate and meaningful data reports and analysis and/or keen observations
  • Ensure accuracy: Govern the process for the preparation of the financial forecasts and budgets; identify and quantify risks and opportunities to the company
  • Strengthen relationships: Establish and maintain communication with clients and/or team members; understand needs, resolve issues, and meet expectations
  • Take the lead: Execute data maintenance processes; ensure master data integrity in key systems; maintain the processes to support the data quality; identify areas for data quality improvements and help to resolve data quality problems; manage, analyze, and resolve data initiative issues; assist in data management, governance, and data quality of master data requirements with other functional data owners

Qualifications

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in information science, data management, computer science or related field preferred

Experience Requirements: 7+ years’ experience in data analysis or computer programming; experience with ERP implementations, practices and concepts; experience dealing with master data; progressive experience with master data management preferred; experience with global enterprises and cross functional projects; prior experience in an IT role strongly preferred; prior experience with data and information architecture in the MDM space

 

To succeed in this position, you must:

 

  • Have specific knowledge and experience with PeopleSoft
  • Have knowledge of productivity measures and methodologies
  • Be familiar with GST/VAT and business tax regulations and reporting requirements
  • Have strong knowledge and experience in data process mapping and re-engineering
  • Have business process expertise and basic understanding of IT and its impact on the business
  • Have good understanding of regulatory compliance implications and controls impacting business areas
  • Have demonstrated leadership skills; be able to take the lead in making improvements and resolving issues
  • Have strong analytical skills; be able to interpret data, identify trends, and make suggestions for improvements
  • Have good knowledge of core financial processes and applications within: Order to Cash; Record to Report; Procure to Pay
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills; be able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner
  • Have specific knowledge of data profiling, cleansing, deduplication and quality, as well as the criticality of these items and effect on the business
