The duties of the language assessor will be to provide English language assessments for new hires, based on the Common European Framework, remotely via a conference bridge or other telephony or chat solution. The Voice Assessment is a 10-15 minute conversational evaluation of the candidate’s English skills. It is not an evaluation of accent neutralization. The assessor is evaluating the candidate’s ability to navigate through a typical English language conversation and use proper pronunciation and accent, understand English colloquiums and be able to clearly recap the point(s) of the conversation. At the completion of the assessment the assessor will enter the candidate’s information and score into a database. It may be necessary for the assessor to perform other duties as assigned- including the support of large project launches- that have varying schedule requirements.
Provide English language assessments for new hires based on the Common European Framework. We are looking for an engaging individual who can hold a conversation, provide proper pronunciation, place accent on the areas needing stress and clearly articulate the point(s) in the topic. Effectively assess the level of English, and provide concise and accurate feedback on each area of concern. Perform other duties as prescribed.
