  • Improve workflow: Work with management to assess current processes; ensure processes generate measurable operational and financial benefits
  • Impact the bottom line: Perform extensive data mining and analysis to identify root causes of issues; develop and evaluate appropriate action plans
  • Strengthen relationships: Establish and maintain communication with clients and/or team members; understand needs, resolve issues, and meet expectations
  • Keep Sutherland aligned: Support, create, and oversee proper documentation of processes and/or employees and ensure adherence to policies and guidelines
  • Take the lead: Manage companies in diverse sectors and modeling/ writing frequent, brief analyses on individual companies, sectors, and on industry sub-groups, building of profiles and comp sheets, writing investment thesis and notes


Education Requirements: CA/MBA(finance)/CFA (US) or equivalent

Experience Requirements: 2-4 years’ experience in BFSI sector; Experience in Credit Research(either buy or sell-side)


To succeed in this position, you must:


  • Be able to work in MS Office applications
  • Have some understanding of Banking & Finance
  • Be well-versed with financial modelling and valuation
  • Be quality focused with attention to detail and client service
  • Be customer-oriented in managing communications and issues
  • Be able to efficiently manage time and keep track of multiple schedules, meetings, and initiatives
  • Be pro-active in developing trust and professional rapport with employees and team members; work as a team-player
  • Have strong modeling and analytical skills; be able to interpret data, identify trends, and make suggestions for improvements
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills; be able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional manner
