The Global Human Resources Services (GHRS) Center – EMEA is responsible for developing and managing enterprise-wide HR processes and technology to manage specific administrative functions within a centralized contact and service center serving approximately 3000 Sutherland employees. The HR Specialist serves as subject matter expert on compensation inquiries for employee and manager guidance. Obtains and provides requested information or takes appropriate action to resolve, refer, or escalate issues in accordance with company and HR policies and procedures. This function works closely with the Centers of Expertise, Employee Relations, HRBPs, employees and managers. This position also supports the department in the administration of assigned transactional work.



Key Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with HR functional specialists and HR Shared Services Tier I teams to assist with program development and implementation.
  • Oversee HR data and timely data processing for client groups including transfers, promotions, compensation changes, requiring strong attention to detail.
  • Compile HR metrics and reports and provide important business intelligence to the organization in regards to trends with employee matters.
  • Deliver HR programs to client groups through partnerships with HR Business Partners and ensure client satisfaction with HR functional support.
  • Develop and maintain close partnerships within regional and corporate HR teams to successfully execute corporate initiatives.
  • Handle employees concerns regarding compensation issues.
  • Enters all employee data changes into PeopleSoft. Perform audits of data to ensure data credibility.
  • Performs testing for HRIS system updates.
  • Performs other duties as required by the management


  • Requires knowledge of compensation and benefits
  • Requires a university degree or 1-4 years of Human Resource experience.
  • Organized and capable of meeting deadlines, attention to detail, and managing multiple priorities
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Maintains the highest level of integrity with personal and sensitive information
  • Demonstrate a high degree of customer service orientation and business acumen
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • PeopleSoft software experience preferred
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and individuals.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
